32 Weeks

How far along:  32 weeks

Size of baby:  squash
.
Average size: 15.2- 16.7 inches, 2.5-3.8 lb

Clothes:  Maternity jeans, workout pants (not because I've been busy working out), regular and maternity shirts.  Let's face it... my wardrobe consists of about 10 things when I'm not pregnant and when I am things are even more limited.  Odds are if anyone has seen me in person 5 times I've had the same outfit on 4 of those times.

Gender/Names:  Boy - Knox Haddon (names from John Knox and Charles Haddon Spurgeon)

Sleep:  Still sleeping well!  Yay!

Movement:  You definitely vary depending on the day.  You never let me worry long as I can always feel you squirming if I sit still and pay attention but some days you don't move much and others you move a lot.

Cravings:  Nothing weird in the craving department the last couple weeks.

Update:  My blood pressure was "perfect" today according to our nurse.  We're definitely getting into the real heat of the summer so hopefully it will stay "perfect".

I am sitting here a little worried about you today though.  Maybe worried isn't the right word.  Conscience of possibilities might be a better way to explain it.  We had your 3-D ultrasound today.  I've felt you were small all along.  Fat or not I should look more pregnant than I do.

Your measurements today confirmed some of my thinking, or at least I think it did.  You're measuring about 1.5 weeks behind.  This has definitely never been something I've heard with any of your brothers, even Johsua and Caleb always measured ahead.  It sounds like the part that raises flags is your head size.  You're head is small.  Like 21 percentile small. I don't really understand what that means as far as intrauterine measurements go because Dr. Fenoughty explained that these can't be perfect measurements.  She seems convinced this is nothing to worry about but has ordered another ultrasound in 2 weeks so as not to miss anything if there's anything to miss and probably to just put my mind at ease.  In order for insurance to cover it, there has to be a reason so I guess the real reason is to rule out microcephaly.  Apparently your head size being off even the tiniest bit can throw off all your measurements so here's to accurate measurements and you being perfectly healthy at our next peek at you.  I know God already knows everything about you and that's why I'm not worried.  My trust is completely in Him.  I just have to be patient.  Oh and hey, if you could maybe put your hands down for a few seconds next time, Mommy would really like to get a look at your sweet face!  Here's a look at what we got this week...

...not much other than confirmation that you are still in fact a boy.  Behind your hands at all times was your face, which is why we couldn't see it.  You just kept opening and closing your hands but never moving them.  Of course you had no problem putting your boy parts on display... seems pretty typical around here!  Love you sweet baby Knox!
